Hobo Helsinki Hotel

Just a top selection for a weekend jaunt in Helsinki with excellent value for money. The interior design of the place was quite an eye opener and made for a refreshing stay. Make sure to check with housekeeping about your complimentary items to avoid surprises.

Overall it was top-class with a bath.

The breakfasts were extensive with the cake and the Berry tea, as example. All the staff was very nice, settled my issues. The hotel's location was marvellous and brilliant in the centre of beautiful Helsinki.

Greatly enjoyed our a twin room with bath. The location was favourable, right by the Aleksanterinkatu, one of the main streets in Helsinki, major sights, the train station, restaurants, and shopping, and a great restaurant called Saaga.

It's location. Seemed like in the center of everything.

The buffet breakfast was exactly the same during all four days of my stay.And also it would be nice for the hotel staff to warn the guests, that the contains of mini-bar are not included in the room payment. You'll have to pay for them when checking out. Not everybody knows that. I saw a girl for whom it came out a big bad surprise.

Check-in was supposed to be from 14;00 and although we arrived at 14:15, we had to wait until 14:25 until the room was cleaned before we could go up.

Sightseeing activity we had planned. The room was small but cozy, and the breakfast selection was quite excellent. The air conditioning seemed inadequate, leading to a bit of discomfort during the warmer days.

I was kinda surprised! The location couldn't be better. Everything is within walking distance 😊 Breakfast was excellent with so many tasty option! On the downside, the room was quite small.

I am staying at this hotel every time i come to Helsinki. And I don't want to look for an alternative. I like everything there.

Sometimes the room appears to be not the one you expect (category, location within hotel, type of bed, etc.) albeit the friendly staff is always at your disposal to change the room in case you dislike the one you get.

We especially liked the location in the middle of the city. Great.

The early bird breakfast might start earlier since many flights leave as early as 6:30AM and folks must leave for the airport at 5:00 AM or so. A complaint: Either the hotel or the booking agent confused the final reservation which was listed as 3 nights and should have been 1 night. Thank you for resolving the confusion quickly upon arrival.

spa shouldn't be posed as one of the main character of the hotel. Carlito's restaurant was closed on sunday!!!!
